The Worship services at the Gouldtown Community Church combine the best of Traditional Worship Services and Contemporary Worship Services, as the pictures above suggest. You will get to sing some of your favorite Hymns such as "Amazing Grace," or "How Great Thou Art," along with praise and worship songs featuring a lovely mix of acoustic and electric guitars, and piano and organ. Everythng is done "decently and in order," but we are very open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We do believe they are for today, and a necessary dimension in the life of the Church. Still the song service is not the climax of our worship services but the preaching of the word of God. Dr. Edwards endeavors to rightly divide the Word of God, and communicate God's truth  through the anointing of the Holy Spirit to the congregation. Presently Dr. Edwards is preaching on the Gospel According to Matthew. The Theme of this series of sermons is "The Kingdom of Heaven has already come near."
